Denoting water height with colour
« on: October 07, 2007, 04:28:00 pm »

As in the title. Has it been considered to denote the water height with an appropriate shade of blue? (the darker the deeper)? I think it would allow for a quicker (and more natural) overview of the situation.

(If you didn't guess, I've just watched the drain movie) I also wanted to know if having a large enough room below a body of water and digging a hole in the ceiling would yield a complete drainage of the body to the level below?)

I think it either uses different colors already, or has a numerical value of 1-7 denoting how deep it is.  The latter may be a toggle-able option.

In the newer versions (see Tragedy Mule), water is colour coded from cyan to light blue to dark blue (I believe, could be mistaken), and you can also use the loo[k] cursor to check its depth.
