If they are still quadrupeds, they don't have any hands.  They can't grasp things with their mouths, either.

You haven't seen them in action.
Undead fish? No problem, undead wolves? didn't even see it happen. Groundhogs? 30 at one hippoman wasn't enough. Plus they get the job done fast. And right. seeing as they move at 100speed, and can swim without learning.


Now all I have to do, is make them hate dwarves, make some 16x16 sprites for em. fix any bugs, pack it all up, and hand out my own modded DF to all.
Orcs? Easy. Hippomen? AHHH SHIT.

I'm not having any problems playing them with the files I made.  They are digging, cutting wood, fishing, making beds, and so forth.

I took amphibious, mundane, and the two biome statements out of the creature definition.  I also made them use Ω for their symbol on-screen.   :D

After some testing - the problem in fortress mode seems to be caused by swims_innate.  They path into the water, but then the basic dwarf mode AI kicks in and they decide that being in the water is bad and run away.  Then of course they make a new path, right back through the water.

lol, no.  I just tested them in my vanilla install.  I think you based them on demons, and I don't need demons loose in my world.   :D

Should it just be a bunch of ROOARS? or should it be something like an actual language?
