Elves are naturally faster than the other races, thus getting hits in slightly more often. They unfortunately have the disadvantages of having a negative damblock (causing attacks to do slightly greater damage to them), and having inferior wooden weapons, though the latter can be negated by long-distance shanking a dwarf guard with a wooden arrow and horking his stuff.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Playing as an elf is just a good way to commit quantum genocide.

1.play as elf
2.kill as many elves as you can.
3.die.
4.repeat steps 1-3 until no elves remain.

Its all the satisfaction of murder and suicide!

Unintelligent said it all. If you are a perfectly agile elf, you can pretty much move twice as fast as the NPCs. After a certain point, you can steal any weapon or shield from human shops that you want.

But Elves aren't Vegetarians. They eat people.
So they are humanitarians.

They are nice for just scouting around and testing stuff in advent mode since they don't get ambushed by wolves and stuff.

Plus you can safely grind skills by endlessly grappling animals since they will never fight back.

Also, if your worldgen has a conquored elf retreat you can murder an elf town guard and get elf-sized steel or iron armor.

I only play as elves if I want to run around the place without random animals killing me all the time.

I always make sure to end myself when I get bored of exploring. Usually by trying to punch a kid and getting cloven asunder by a guard.

Yep, play as an elf killing other elves. No matter what the outcome is, it's always good!

Sometimes, when I'm bored, I'll create an elf character, name him "Fargoth," retire, and then come back and tear his eyes out as another adventurer. It's quite satisfying if you imagine him whimpering, "where is my Engraved Ring of Healing??"

Heh.  I start off every new character in morrowind with the stealing from Fargoth quest.  He just bothers me.

I applaud you for this.

but what if he decided to torment you in his final moments by shouting "By AZURA BY AZURA BY AZURA BY AZURA?"

I played an Elf for the challenge of killing everything despite having inherent flaws.
