These cake are of the highest quality, they are made of cake, lined with blue icing, lined with white icing, lines with red icing, they are encrusted with sprinkles and silver orbs.  These cakes were made to commemorate the legendary status of Urist McSkelatal_Carp, Baker.

I especially like the "average dwarf, caked in blood, vomit and water from top to toe."  Too bad you made me hungry though.  Nice cakes.

I really like the forgotten beast visualization ^^
Heh, those things are going to creep us the fuck out :p

EDIT: Oh, yeah, if you read the dev_now while Toady coded the forgotten beasts you know the "fuck" is alright in that context :p

You'll have to wait a bit for the mighty cake of Maggarg's family.
Christmas cakes are serious business. And quite heavy.

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

I'd call them biscuits- look like gingerbread biscuits, more specifically.

Would be more appropriate to call them biscuits, as biscuits are in DF.

Dwarven blood types are not A, B, AB, O but Ale, Wine, Beer, Rum, Whisky and so forth.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

These are really funny. And I bet tasty :)

And they are not cakes, nor biscuits. Not sure what they should be called in english but in czech we have special word for them - "perníčky" (where "í" is read like "ee" in "keen" and "č" like "tch" in "scotch")

I agree.
We finished making one of the cakes for christmas, this one is the one we're not giving away. It'll get fed with booze for a few weeks, then it gets iced.
