Dwarf won't stop gathering bone

I know this glitch has been reported with stone, but I haven't seen it with bone. One of my dwarves (with no crafting experience) has claimed a craftsdwarves workshop and has been gathering bones nonstop. He will not gather anything unless the game is set to only soldiers allowed outside.

I am using the mike mayday's mac version (40d16)

Yeah, this can happen for any item type. There's more details in the "Dwarf won't stop gathering stone" thread.

I assume you mean fell moods (which would involve the systematic murder of the entire fortress), as macabre moods just use stuff like skulls, chunks, and vermin remains.
