I fully expect this to sink, fastly. Like the last time I tried something like this. I'll try to make this my homepage to remind me of this.

Request art here. Please try to keep it simple, I don't want to spend over two hours on one. End result will always be a digital painting. I will not update every day, maybee every second. Right to ignore stuff is reserved.

Gimme something to base it on. Reference image, description, music track, link, you name it, I do it.

Humanoids preferred. Anything else, as long as it is good enough, is welcome also. This is to improve my art and make me draw stuff I wouldn't draw otherwise.

Anyway, can you do a cybernetic humanoid mostly concealed by a hooded robe, holding an oversized high-tech looking gun? (no zeerust, please)

What's a zeerust? Anyway, sketching now.

Zeerust is "old future". For example, Star Trek TOS is all zeerust with its "high-tech" control panels and interior designs.

OK, did a prelimary. Point out stuff you don't like and it will be ironed out. (For example, the figure is too short, the robe probably too indistinct, etc...)

Odd style, but whatever. I'd prefer the gun to be in front of the figure, wielded as one would wield a heavy machinegun. If you do it this way, make sure it's the barrel that is pointing back, and give the gun some loose wiring going from the stock to the humanoid's body, probably into the locale of the armpit. The robe is alright, if a little jagged, but where's the second arm?

Long sleeve. (Heavily shaded area on the right.) Will probably change and fix all that stuff tomorrow, thanks for feedback. And, perhaps, make the whole thing a little more futuristic.

Also, I meant "if you it this way instead" in that post, meaning that it would be either "heavy machinegun" or "arbitrary heavy weapon with loose wires".

I'm not sure what I'd ask for.  Depends on your range of references and style.  Can you do backgrounds?  And is Sean's product indicative of how much detail you'll normally do?

I think I could try my hand at backgrounds. After all, if you can do the human body, everything else's piece of cake.

A Mi-24 Hind (I'm specific because it has a distinctive shape) flying over a jungle with streams of smoke and gunfire rising from the ground (not necessary shooting at the copter).  Sky should be a reddish afternoon look.
