Sorry for the late update. And this one is short. I'll keep an eye on the thread today and roll for the river crossing when you tell me what you want to do, and give you the remaining 2 days of travel.

Yay!  Fishing time!

Once the fishing is done, an emphatic vote for caulking the wagons and floating them across.  That there fording is dangerous bizness.

Fishing does take a whole day, two chances per day instead of 8 hunting. Do you guys want to do that? It'll just shave off one of your Steady days at the end of this turn.

Sure, let's take a day of fishing(dwarves like variatey after all),

then caulk and see how far off course we float.

I'll just get a day of rest, or two, or four,
Until I heal and then whatever

You know, I don't give a damn. I don't have a wagon to lose either way. Although, I would rather cross sooner than later.

I forgot to check for healing on the injured dwarves who are eating Filling meals. I will do that for the full 6 days of this turn.

But really all I need from you guys is Float or Ford. The turn isn't over yet. You still have 2 more Steady days ahead.

I know what's going on.
in next 6 days the river can be even more flooded, so we have to get across, But I'd rather not float, I'd rather Ford and I do realise there's a risk of damage to the wagons and of loosing equipment, but I don't give a damn

Sounds like on average,

one day rest, then 2 for float and 1 for ford

If I don't hear from anyone by later tonight it'll be rest 1 day (those who said they wanted to fish will do so) and then caulk the wagons and float them across, followed by a steady travel day.

(Rooster will probably be healed in the 4 days already posted above plus the rest day. I just didn't check it yet)
