50 living + 25 dead = 75 total dwarves.

25/75 = 1/3

It's also accurate to say that I had 1/2 as many dwarves dead as alive.  1/3 is 1/2 of the remaining 2/3s.

Not always a good option. I'm barely keeping a Queen and King Consort above suicidal right now. The Queen has 2 friends and 11 grudges. The King has 10 friends and 18 grudges. They're always upset about dealing with annoying people.

Sounds like the regular dwarves don't like the nobles either.   :D
