Ok, so I've got a Mac with no number pad, and the only plus and minus signs I have aren't recognized by the game. Is there a way around this?

Reassign your keys (can be done through the escape menu or by editing the interface.txt file in the data\init folder) or get a keyboard designed by a company that puts form after function.
