Look, we all know who'd make the best upper forum mod.

Footkerchief.

Lower forum, however... I don't know.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

If it were possible, I think I'd make Aqizzar moderator of everything.

And I think it's been firmly established among the community that that's the general consensus.

This post is redundant in triplicate.

I found out DF from a guy in my D&D group who was playing the 2d version while the new guys rolled up some characters. I asked what it was and found it through google later. I don't think he visited bay 12 often as he had not known about the 3d version.

This place, I enjoy it here. Partly because the stereotype of 'under 18's (especially 12-15 year olds) are all childish retards who can't spell' is almost nonexistant.

I say almost because... Jesus. I'm not naming names.

Heh.

But, if there was an additional moderator (not admin), my bets would be on Duke 2.0. He's been very full of common sense, as far as I can tell.

My thoughts of bay12 are that we're a rather mature forum. I haven't noticed many people (other than those for which English is a second, third, or tertiary language) that don't use proper grammar.

No, the speaking of three languages is fairly common, so anything past that is an outlier, and therefor tertiary.

Besides, tetra (four) sounds like terti.

That always confused me.  Is tert another word for three?  I mean, I don't know any other words Tertiary has any relation to.  It seems rather strange to me.

I'm kind of waiting for the next release before I seriously start hanging around here again.

As for our impact, we have none. This is one of the most well behaved corners of the internets I've stumbled across.

edit note: NOTE THIS IS SET UP AS A HYPOTHETICAL (IF we wanted to), thank you very much

If we really wanted to have an impact, we should start harboring some of the anon raid planning. That's the most surefire way to get into internets history. No, really. I'd have a blast doing it. Nothing malicious or actually damaging like DDOS attacks, but the more harmless (but hilariously annoying) invasions.

If you all REALLY want to have an impact, lets have a thread in which we'll vote on another community to invade. All we have to do is start being active over there but acting like it's Bay12Games and making lots of Dorf Jokes. If we do that to enough internet communities, we might end up with a notable Encyclopedia Dramatica entry.

Excuse me as I get a suitable glove for smacking you so hard your grandchildren will have the stupid smacked outta them.

We already do something to this degree. It's called finding a game we all like and playing it together. If we had somebody who was not opposed to making a public server we would be known in the Minecraft community. Heaven and Hearth knew us well as a relatively drama-free settlement and we even have a Team Fortress 2 server other people sometimes play on.

We even have an axe named after us on Haven and Hearth.

The internets does not care about things like H&H or a single TF2 server. Go invade Facepunch.
