Actually, weed can cause increased agitation and aggresiveness.

Maybe if you have serious issues from before, like schizophrenia or something.

Uh, yeah. Agressive from Marihuana? Really?
Is that information from the USA 50's commercials: "This is your brain. This is your brain on DRUUUUUGGGS"?

No. It's a paradoxical reaction to it. It's not very usual, but it happens.

Well, I've never seen anything like that happen, and I've seen a lot of high people :)

On topic: Quitting gaming is hard. Quitting coffee was easy (although cultural habits dictate that refusing coffee is "not done", I still keep to my 3 a day). Quitting cigarettes is planned for January.

Quitting gaming IS hard. I'm sure many other people here can attest to that. I used to spend upwards of five hours during weekdays playing games, and up to ten hours on Saturdays and Sundays. I figured, 45 hours a week is just ridiculous.

The sad thing is, even though I only spend like 8 hours a week on games, I spend about 40 hours a week just sitting around. I have an interview coming up for a job position I'd like, so hopefully that will change things.

My two (relatively insignificant) problems are nail biting and internet addiction (most notably, these forums). Oh yeah, and gaming when I'm in bed. Thankfully, I still am young enough that my parents can send me to bed, but unfortunately, I've still got a Gameboy Advance SP from a while ago. The first is trouble to stop, but more of a socially unacceptable thing, thankfully. The second... Well, getting an iPod Touch and keeping it in my room when I go to bed is a bad idea, because of the fact that it has Safari and lets me go online. The third is also a big problem: I've stayed up until 5 or 6 in the morning on a school night.

Hmmm... if you drain the batteries to both your gameboy and your iTouch before you go to bed, it might just be too much trouble to use them. Worked for me when I was hooked on Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

I quit gaming and the Internet a few weeks back, while on holiday without net access. Now that I'm back on it, I'm happier, especially since I don't waste any time on Mafia Wars and other boring online crap.

I eat like there's no tommorow.
And I can't quit. I shan't, I can't and I won't

I'm just going to swap chocolate and high fat hams and stuuf for all those tasty oranges!

I overeat as well, especially if there's something particularly rare/delicious available.

Like, say, turkey. If it's available and still warm, I'll eat turkey until I'm sick. I do this entirely on the principle of "Hey, how often do you get turkey? Almost never! EAT UP SON!". Same goes for shrimp. I was sick for an entire day because of shrimp that I KNEW was bad, but I ate anyway.

Also, cheese fondues. I'll go out of my way to slather every single item of food I have in melted cheese if it's available. Even if it's not a food item that you'd normally slather in cheese, like chips. Not nachos, no, try pringles. CHEESE pringles... Not a single one survived.

Just put out my last cigarette. I fear the coming days. Willpower is the key.

Good luck in your endeavours, don't know what your ultimate motivation is, but you WILL feel better (lungs, throat, general odour etc.) if you can just keep it up.

Here's hoping for your success.

Right... That sucked.
I failed 3.5 times the first day. Good thing I wore my "Failure is always an option" T-shirt.

Tomorrow, another day.
