Aww, that's a shame. Seems like it should work, and also seems like a suitably dwarven solution, if you just use ENOUGH water.

Thanks, though. Guess that makes the spike trap corridor linked to the repeater a decent way to go for all of them.

My solution is to give your champions adamantine armor and weapons.

The direct route is the dwarven way!   ;D

If you do open the pits, I suggest you have a backup area for your a few civilians to survive in case you are overwhelmed by the lords of the underworld.

Also, the clownpits do act as chasms, yes.

Using hell itself as a garbage dump seems very dwarfy.

Christ, are you dwarves or are you elves? If you think Hell has too many demons, then you kill them till the population reaches an acceptable number.

‼Clowns‼ can't be put out with water.

Furthermore, they're hot enough to boil the water before it even gets near them.

Just imagine all the demons and the eternally suffering ones in the underworld being showered with waste water, microline and XXpig tail socksXX.

What is this "microline" of which you speak? Is it related to this "ortholase" I keep (not) hearing about?

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Orthoclase is Microcline's younger, but often un-noticed yellow brother.
Sort of like Mario and Luigi, but with blue and yellow.

Pay closer attention - I know exactly what "microcline" is, but am unfamiliar with this thing people call "microline".

So gonna do that when I strike it and clear it out. Dump trash into Hell. Rocks, giblets, severed limbs, and maybe the odd noble.

A tendon in the skull has been torn!
The Raven has been knocked unconcious!

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

Now replace "odd" with "every" and you have the perfect plan.

Before you know it you'll accidentally find trash clowns and they'll come up and thank you for it.
