Anyway, some further stuff on my city, and my adventurers.
A large city, Nai is named after it's ruler, an intelligent Suin. He, along with his advisors, rule the city with an iron fist, but barely. The city is constantly on the brink of anarchy, the majority of the citizens living there live in the slums and shanty towns surrounding the walled inner-city, where the richer members of the city live. Nai lives within the walled section, in a castle with a wall surrounding it. It's guarded by the best the race has to offer, Royal Guards. City Guards guard the inner city while the regular guards police the slums – barely. Nai is a city where you can get anything for any price. It contains the usual assortment of misfits and thugs who gather in taverns and inns. Factions of organised crime mobs control the slums, mugging unguarded travellers into the city. For this reason often outsiders do not travel to the city.
Nai contains large furnaces, in the slums and in the city. Within the city there is a large cathedral that inside is a huge sheet steel mill. It produces sheet metal to be used in decorations and building, while there are many smithies throughout the city that produce quality armor and arms.
There are about 3 diplomats and 4 guards, the guards aren't heavily armed. Fifty Suin soldiers rush out to meet the diplomats. They form into ranks around the group, the first line with spears, second with swords and shields, third with bows and fourth with clubs. The leader of the group speaks,
"Greetings. I am commanded to bring you to our leader."
The leader of the group has nine bodyguards, armed in the finest arms and armor to come from the furnaces of the Suin. The circle opens up towards the city into a sort of rectangle with a rounded back edge. The straight edge facing the city. They then start marching off, silently except for the pattering of the marching soldiers iron boots upon the rough, hard ground. Soon they come to the outskirts of the city. A shanty town.
The soldiers constrict the square smaller, now the visitors were squeezed inbetween soldiers. Half of the soldiers went along the sides of the streets walking in time with the main group. This forced all the poverty stricken Suin off the main street. Most of the buildings were wooden and overhanging the street, piled one atop the other. The were numerous ally ways that the soldiers focused on. Many atrocities were seen, there were beatings, murders and robberies all within the short time they walked within the shanty town. The main street was muddy dirt, mixed with Raw Sewerage. Up ahead was a clean small patch of stone courtyard, where other soldiers were. There were other main streets to the left and right of this courtyard. The main road continued beyond this courtyard, into a great gate. Even by the standards of Humans - if they were here. It was made of clean marble, off to the right street was a band of suspicious Suin, hiding in the shadows. To the left was a slightly cleaner market square, in the middle was some gallows surrounded by market stalls. Faintly it could be heard a Suin calling of the crimes committed by the Suin in the gallows. "Theft, Robbery, Murder...."
The leader of the soldiers whispered to the Astroligans, "Get ready to run. When I start you start." After a minute or so, a hundred metres before the courtyard some Suin crept from the the shadows. "NOW!" The leader, four soldiers and the visitors started running towards the gate, the suspicious Suin ran out of the shadows, the rest of the soldiers spun around, preparing battle lines. Against the 50 trained and superior armed soldiers, one hundred untrained and armed with clubs Suin charged them. Several Suin jumped out at the visitors group, the four soldiers were killed by a knife to the throat by five other Suin. The leader spun around slashing the throats of two, he parried against the others while he yelled to the visitors. "This is as far as I'm supposed to go! You will continue with the soldiers past the gate. Keep running!"
The visitors ran to ten elite soldiers past the gates. They were armed better than the others. This part of the city was much cleaner, and safer. it was obvious this was where the well off Suin lived. Up ahead there was a small keep.
"Lets go."
The soldiers started walking in a haphazard group. There was no need to get into formation. They walked towards the keep. Next to the keep was a construction site. The street was paved with stone, a stark contrast to the shanty town. The street was straight, and so were the buildings. With little gardens in some of them. Eventually they arrived at the keep.
"And this is as far as I go."
The diplomats looked sadder than when they first arrived. Several even better armed soldiers came out, they had gold plated armor. "Come, you're to see our leader."
Narok and Le'Zelle are 2 Suin, Champions of Velen, they were the best their civilisation had to offer in the previous realm. Their leader made a grave mistake, he tried to assassinate one and made fugitives of both of them. Now they're travelling through multiple worlds and realms to garner support to overthrow their corrupt government. Narok has a bionic eye given to him that enabled him to see, it can also can see the flows of magi, radiation, heat, magic, and electric activity.
They both have armor made from a very strong, but light metal that's painted in greens and browns for camouflage. They have bows, arrows, daggers, swords and knives made from the same material. They have no way to reproduce this material as it was given to them by an advanced race in a previous realm (see BotG V). Narok can use rudimentary magic, but his power is increasing day by day.

Velen strode to the game table, gods clustered around it. Many held back not wanting to be humiliated, some threw their lot into the game with heroes and races. Velen was in the form of a human with a green tint to his skin, a slight ting, he coughed every now and again. Velen reached into a pouch on his side and pulled out two small statues. One was of two Suin, Narok and Le'Zelle. He placed these on a forest tile, near another gods city. The second was a large city with slums surrounding it. He placed it on the bend of a river, covered in forest. As he placed it they both seemed to come alive, the adventurers looked around, sometimes they glanced unseeing at the gigantic gods. For on the board they were less than a drop in the ocean. The city was far different, ti was a major landmark in the landscape. Already fighting could be seen in the slums while the guards barely fought of the criminals. Executions were happening already in the square. Few cared that they were in another world. Velen leaned back, folded his arms and sat.
