Shades, how long have you been playing for today?! I'm putting my money on "entirely too long for your health"...

Put silkworms into basket with one mulberry leaf per worm. Refilling tomorrow morning.
You need four leaves per worm. They eat once every 4 RL hours, so it's not really practical to refill periodically.

Ah shit, I thought once every 12 hours. Apparently I confused ingame hours and RL hours here... Will adjust accomodations accordingly :(
(that is, do it right the next time)

Wind can be used to create windblades. These are like crappy swords. If left in the windchime, it will improve in terms of quality, eventually destroy it and dealing massive damage to the surroundings.

It destroys runestones. RUNESTONES.

for lack of finding any village to settle in, i am just out near the NW corner of the map next to the desert. Stole enough seeds to get a little farm going (I replanted the plants in the farms i took from).

Not sur eif this is a good spot or not. I some some heath earlier with a mulberry tree in it but I also saw wind, that swhy I asked. I was wondering if it was a good place to settle.

Plenty of small Bay12 communities around I'm sure you can join one of them. Errol runs the one I'm at.

As to where a good place to settle would be I'd have said check the clay, soil and water ql. If you can find those three in high numbers it's great :) Bare in mind I'm a newbie too so later on there might be more important stuff.

Clay, soil and water are pretty much the bare necessities. Be sure to make hi q trees, everything depends on them. There is a lake in the north that has about q60 water. It is also important to have a type of grassland nearby, in my experience.

Otherwise, search your surroundings, there usually is some q20-30 spots in fair victinity.

You can just right click on something on the village grounds, it'll tell you the name.

I don't think the 'village' exists anymore; the entire area is under the claim of someone called "Sarge", but the place is in serious disrepair, i don't think anyone's been online for awhile.

Never heard of the village, but Sarge is OK. Haven't seen him on the forums in a while, though.

Yeah, apparantly this is some sort of newbie town he set up, judging by the look of the place it fell apart.

He was last active on the 11th of Nov, if i see him in IRC or on the H&H forums i'll apologise for tresspassing.



Judging by it's location, if we could get Sarge to co-operate this would be an excellent staging ground for a new B12 settlement expedition, there's a river nearby and everything.
