I could join, but I have a friend who I'm sort of taking care of. Would he be allowed if I could tote his tail all the way to you?

Sure. At this point, it's the more the merrier.

Alright, had a discussion with the now-chieftain (Coriander), and we've set up a system so we have more than just me, personally, accepting people to the village.

I'll now be PMing two hearth secrets - the first one is the one you should spawn at. If I (in-game name AlyssaXenos) am not there, then you can use the second to add Coriander to your kin list and whisper him in-game to get citizenship. I'll probably repeat this in my PM, just in case (Cor doesn't currently live inside the village limits, so spawning with him would be inconvenient).

EDIT:

Since I've already double posted I'm just editing this in.

Someone asked me for Pacho's client so I'm linking it here. Basically, it enables changing the resolution and has a couple of helpful tools (like nightvision). From what I understand only the JNLP link works right now.

I'm in the game, but I'm sort of... out of the way. If you come across a cluster of buildings by a river with a runestone saying 'Deimos lives here', surrounded by fencing, you've probably found me...

But I'm in the middle of the woods with a protovillage far to the west that's abandoned being the only standing structure other than mine that I know about.

Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

I went ahead and set up a private forum for the village, so signing up there would be a good idea. When you first sign up you won't have access to anything, as I'm validating people out of sheer paranoia, but I'll try and get around to people as fast as I can.

Andoran's gotten a couple of folks, but we need all the hands we can get. Newcomers are welcome, especially as we've now got three folks who can help show you the ropes. There's plenty of space, plenty of food, and plenty of stuff in need of doing, so send me a PM if your'e at all interested in joining.

Considering I can't even get to the site, I'd have to agree.

DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

It's deader than a dead corpse in a graveyard full of toxic uranium landmines.

I think the server crashed again.

For future reference, you can check on the front page, at least if the messageboards aren't fiddly like they were yesterday.

I also use this site to check the status of the main site if I have trouble connecting.

EDIT:

I also implore people who are already a part of the village (and prospectives) to join up at our private forums so we can better coordinate our efforts.
