They're actually REALLY easy to kill with a skill level of 5+.  Armor makes them unable to hurt you, even the starter boots.

Also, I have just successfully punched my first fox dead!  :D  I have absolutely no use for the intestines I just got, so I'm going to stink up my cupboard with them.

Sure, man. My username/account/name/whatever will be, of course, Duelmaster409 because it's the best damned name ever. However, I might try it tomorrow, not now because I am beat from stayin' up all night for 2010 to come 'round.

My flax field seems to be rather larger than I really require.  Oh well.  MORE EXPANSION.

There's nothing else I can do with the seeds, right?

Well, if you've got about 100 melee, and access to pretty decent armor, you can tame a cow, and put seeds in its trough.  You could sell troughs full of fodder, although note that if the fodder quality is below 10, absolutely no-one will buy it(since animals can graze on grassland and heath for q10 food).  Alternatively, you can use seeds to "plant grass" which turns the tile into a grassland tile; very useful for decoration.

Other than that, throw it on the ground.

I've got crappy n00b stats, I don't think I'll be punching or farming well enough for either of the first two.  :p

Grass planting sounds pretty useful, though.


The plot's like 9x12, and starting to get kind of annoying to harvest.  I guess I can start culling the crappy QL seed~

'been a long time since I played this game... What happened to the Bay12 city states project? Anyone still working on it? And does anyone still live in the Dawnforge, the Crimson Island, and the Hub?

Any successful bow hunters out there?  I've got a few questions.. namely what level of archery do you need to hit something like a fox?  Level 13 archery and I still can't hit anything but ants and rabbits.

I have level 10 archery and can hit anything up to level III boars, there is level I and II stuff near my base if you want easy pray.

level I should cause no problem and probably not level II, level III took ages and multiple quivers with only 10 archery though.

As far as I know the b12 towns are still there just very inactive.

CI and TF are still active, last I heard.  I dont know about dawnforge.  SC I believe is active, but I havent heard from them for a while.

AFAIK I'm the only active guy in TF (damn it, it should be possible for me to take over and invite you, but I can't), but I do have some rather nice neighbours nearby.
