I started walking east west but I hit a river pretty quickly and then just followed it north for a while.  Hopefully further north will take me to SOMETHING, but until I am certain I can get by, I'm sticking around where I'm at for now.

Once more unto the breach...

North will take you to where I am eventually, although there are rivers in the way.

If you go north into the town of Brodgar, you'll find crossroads west of their idol. You can travel to Novigrad there, which isn't an urban hell.

Just please don't cut down any trees in the immediate area. I closed the charterstone there due to deforestation, and I'm waiting for the forest to be brought back to satisfiable density before I reopen it. So please, don't make it take any longer than needed.

You can pick any direction and start walking. In 5-10 minutes you should be in a forest and far enough from Novigrad.

Well I managed to find a relatively untouched piece of wilderness in the west that I've set up at for camp for now, so all is well at the moment.

Dragooble! You must join again. Me, you, and WD had RAEGTASTIC amounts of fun. Besides boats, we have new metals, prospecting, a 25x larger map (and expanding). More diverse fishing, the quality system, everything is forest. Ummm... much more stuff, lots of new crafting recipies.

Hey, where are you guys situated nowadays? I'm hanging out on the outskirts of the abandoned remains of the Northplowed colony, across the lake in a little farming camp been propagating some of the high-quality crops (~Q50 for wheet, carrots, and grapes).

Just found a basket of old correspondences between Nevyn and Razor, amidst the ruins of a long abandoned fort, and got to thinking about what happened. Did folks just quit, or migrate further into the wilds, or what?
