Over-react some more and run around the room screaming (hopefully stomping a few spiders on the way.

That's possible, but if you botch the summoning you won't get any, you know?

Guess I don't quite get the idea of a wish then. I can just roll to summon most things, and let fate tell me if I get lucky.

Maybe change the wish to an inherent summoning magic boost, ie: when I am successful in summoning, I learn more summoning magic skill that normal.

I wait before going to the next room, but I do try to conjure useble arrows I can runecraft on out of thin air.

I wish I could conjure arrows I can runecraft on without mishap anytime I want.

A partisan without a pointy bit? You mean like a staff? I have no need for a staff.

I discard the damaged weapon, and return to practicing rapid-fire hadokens. Specifically, I pursue and kill every spider in the room using the mini-hadokens, learning to shoot them off even faster in the process.

Gatoringu Hadoken! (or should it be "Gatoringu no Hadoken"? My Japanese skill is virtually non-existant.)

I wish to be the One and see through the code. Failing that I wish for better summoning skills.

Well, a partisan actually has three pointy bits, sort of. So you've actually got an odd-looking spear. Sorry, I thought it was obvious when I said "one of the pointy bits".

The pictures I've seen of the thing suggest it may be completely useless without the center tip. I'd much rather have a naginata, but since the imminent spider crisis is averted, I'll stick to mastering gatling hadokens.

Now I have my body filter out the poison and store it in my eyes, so I can shoot it out later like a toad.

Of course, which is more awesome, a pointy stick or gatling hadokens?

For that viciously bad pun, I'm gonna introduce a NPC named Vlynndar just so that I can kill him of in a cruel and unusual way.
