Dance is a widely accepted form of art. Many dancers have been stars and were celebrities. Why can't our dwarves not enjoy some culture? Even if it appeals to a more feral form of art sense. It's not all about chisels and cloth pictures, there is something that's called performance. Did you ever think about the cage might be a means to protect the person inside?
