DUH! Anybody could get a creature with a brain to perform tricks. It's only really impressive when you can coerce what is essentially a gelatinous plant to get the paper for you.

Actually the Portuguese Man o War isn't a Jellyfish, it's a Siphonophore; a colony of (four in this case) different kinds of minute individual creatures that clump together into a cohesive whole.
