That's the thing about natural selection and evolution though; you can't tell them to fuck off. They are always operating in some way, as long as there are some members of the species that reproduce more sucessfully than others.

Precisely. We screwed up natural selection in regards to humans (or at least in terms of regular natural selection) and now we have people who slit their wrists for attention. Nature has a sick sense of humor.

No I'm not taking this seriously, before you ask. I'm aware natural selection is very much still real and operating.

Hey everyone! How are you all doing?

Someone earlier asked if smoking hurts your heart. I believe it does, as I mentioned earlier that the banning of smoking in some areas has drastically reduced heart disease in those same areas. Apparently, from what can be gathered, second hand smoke contributes much more significantly to heart disease than previously expected, so who's to say that first-hand smoke doesn't do the same, if not worse?
