Let's see, Sonerohi and WorkerDrone still need to make characters, is that everyone?  I'll probably NPC the important roles that aren't taken.

I guess I could also jump onto this. I have the book after all. I'd just have to copy over the character information from the other thread.

So I have to steer an old, haunted ship through the Warp?

...

Well, this is going to be awesome. Nuts-shatteringly crazy-awesome.

Won't be able to play, sadly, but I sense a touch of... destiny, about this thread.

Please put up the sessions logs. Should be both enlightening and hilarious, in equal measure.  ;D

If this campaign goes from what Cthulhu plans as just being another fly swatting, him being GM and all, and actually turns out to be a worthwhile story that makes all of us better people knowing we will neeeever have to deal with all of the crazy ass shit our characters do on a daily basis, I'll eat my hat.

What do you mean, Flyswatting?  I'm not going to just throw horrible stuff at you until you die.

We're talking about GRIMDARK here. You will be required to kill a box of puppies. And eat them.

Better people you will not become.

I'll put you through your paces, but I'm not going to make rocks fall on you.  If anything, I tend to be too skittish about PC deaths.

As for the first mission, I have a general outline planned out, but nothing concrete.  It's gonna be good though, multiple ways to accomplish the goals and all.

Here's how to get over that:
1. The first batch of characters? Murder them. Horribly. Mutilations encouraged. Bonus points for give the players nightmares.
2. The next batch? Let the players create characters up to level 15. They'll probably work together, and work very hard to make them survive this horrific setting. When they hand them over, swap their alignments and thank the players for giving you some nice villains for the campaign.
3. By now, your players don't know what to do. Require that they all have at least one mutation. In WH40K, this will have to be hidden almost constantly. Set up situations where they can accidentally reveal these mutations.
4. ???
5. Profit.

He doesn't want to be an evil GM, and neither does Aqizzar, I've already tried slipping that tone in and they catch me every time.

Eh.
