Condottieri Ral Crozen Margrave is in many ways an exemplary product of the Schola Progenum. Ruthless, contemptuous, supremely confident in his abilities, and like any survivor of the Adminstratum's gaze, terrified of the Emperor's power and eager to share his terror with all others.
Unfortunately, his stature isn't entirely up to the task of enforcing his authority. A thin, wiry man who tends to shout himself hoarse in the heat of command, Margrave's appearance does little credit to the honor of his immaculate uniforms. His frustration works its way into his leadership, and he enjoys a little too much smacking around crewman to make his point. To supplement his weedy arms, he usually wears a finely wrought and fitted powerfist which cost his entire commissioning parcel. Any deckhand who speaks out of turn around the little lieutenant risks having his jaw backhanded right off his head.
Margrave would likely have been strung up by mutineers long ago, if men who served with him didn't know that however harshly he treats his crew is nothing compared to his searing hatred of all who live not under the Emperor's law. Margrave distinguished himself on the nearly doomed voyage of the Implacable through its final patrol, beset by xenos and things more foul. The veterans who have followed him since know that he would give his life (whatever good that might do) to save the crewmen he lashes from greater threats than his temper.
The Implacable was considered scrapped and its commended officers given their choice of station. In the closest he may ever come to heresy, Margrave resigned his commission, believing the Imperial Navy too timid and ponderous. He instead cast his lot with any Rogue Trader who would take him, eager to sail beyond the relative safety of Imperial space and test himself against the darkness beyond. It's no small secret that margrave dreams of earning a captaincy or even a Free Warrant of his own someday, somehow. For now he does his best to earn his due respect rallying the gunnery crews in battle, and it must be said that his passion carries a commanding air all its own.
All modifiers and options accounted for; the 500XP were spent on bonuses to Ballistic Skill and Agility, and the Literacy, Scrutiny, and Trade(Voidfarer) skills. +0 Acquisition - Good quality Power Fist.

So yeah, a Napoleonic tightassed firebrand, like a young Captain Bligh. His abilities are command oriented and his weapons are pretty much for show, since at best he'd be a glass cannon in a straight fight. I'm still a little confused about how Rogue Trader characters have Skills and Traits in their Rank 1 list that they get for free as starters anyway. I'm pretty sure I got this right.
