I had these Japanese mints called "Zombie Chews". Name says it all. My friend tricked me into having one. They look like innocent mints. They taste fine so you keep going. The aftertaste lasted for about a week.

If you don't like sushi I recommend Korean Gimbap which is the Korean version of sushi, but uses sesame oil instead of rice vinegar and they put in things like beef, or crab sticks.

Yummy.

But anyway back to nasty gross things, have any of you ever eat a tea spoon of instant coffee? Not the worst thing I've ever tasted, but for share unpleasantness it's quite high up there.

Fresh fish, less than 12 hours from the sea, battered and fried perfectly with some proper chips, however...

I used to always drink those bottles of lemon juice that were shaped like lemons, with a little green lid.  I can taste the sour just thinking about the bottles.

I once tried a shot of vanilla extract.

Not so great.  Not so great at all.  Upside is, I can tell people that that is what most forms of alcoholic drinks taste like to me, and most of them can grasp my dislike of them at that point.

I also did that.  I love vanilla, and reasoned that vanilla extract would be like drinking pure vanilla flavor.  Bad Cthulhu, bad.

It IS pure vanilla flavor though, it's just that we fail to reason that not always does Vanilla = good.

Tasted quite good actually. I sometimes eat them if I can't be bothered cooking now.

Technically it's the alcohol you taste in extract; raw it's way stronger than the vanillian compounds.  You have to mix it with something else to be able to taste the vanilla.

Depends on the variety.  Videlia onions are famous for being sweet because they are grown in an area with a sulfur deficiency, so can't form any of the more potent chemicals found in other versions.  In areas with plenty of sulfur, they produce plenty of sulfuric acid when cut/bitten - which is what makes people tear up - and is not too tasty.

Ohh here is something to add to the list

I just ate a Steak (someone made it for me after I ruined my Sub Sandwitch)

Unfortunately it was bad so it was very very sour and very very salty and worst think is that I likely have very bad food poisoning right now.

So I could be tasting a lot of vomit soon.
