The topic is pretty self explanatory.

However it comes about because for the past few days I've been suffering from a cold. My Korean co-teacher decided to give me a brown coloured hot drink which she explains was traditional drink to help with sore throats and coughs but that it would taste a little bad so to think of it as medicine.

I take a sip and it's just like some slightly flavoured water, nothing too bad. Shallow, still good. Then the after-taste creeps over, a second or two later, and BLARG! It tastes like someone stewed the bark off a tree. Not any tree. No, not from a tree which you at least think would be sweet like a maple tree, it tasted like someone found the oldest, most withered, gruesome tree which had been fertilized on hate, anger and the bones of old wicked woman.

This concoction, aspires to be the most bitter beverage, nay, most bitter substance known to man. I've eaten roasted slaters which can't compare to this.

So this topic, people, is the most vile, disgusting thing you've ever tasted.

I'm sure some of you might have heard of beef and beans?

 Well, I've had beef and beans, done horribly wrong.

Even the graces of excessive ketchup could do nothing to stymie the horrors of that meal.
 At first taste, I think it was ok, but then comes in the after-taste, and damn it NEVER GOES AWAY. For the entire rest of the night I had it that bitter mess was molesting my taste buds.

Hmm, I remember once eating a steak and kidney pie where the kidneys, well...
I'm pretty sure the cow wasn't properly butchered as the pie smelled strongly of urine and the taste. Urgh....

Hrm.

Off the top of my head, I can recall some foul Chinese rice wine a friend got;  I find spirits pretty distasteful in general, but this stuff... tasted like it was filtered through an animals rear.

Bleh.

Even the drinkers in our group couldn't stand it.


There is also the subtance we call "Insano-Sauce", an unknown blend of spices and peppers - no matter how much of a pain lover you are, this stuff will make you cry.

Foulest thing I ever ate was spoiled meat. Blech! I didn't take a whiff and hadn't realised it had spoiled before I stuck it in my mouth.

Horseradish. Maybe it was prepared badly ( only time I have ever seen it, so I can't be sure if it is always like that), but surely it was horrible, we couldn't even keep it close to us due to terrible smell.
Actually, I wasn't brave enough to taste the thing, but my mother did and I surely don't regret not eating it.

Over here we can make a mean cabbage soup, which has cauliflower and many other vegies. It tastes absolutely fantastic, but you better not make any plans to go anywhere the next day. ;P

 This one unidentified fish my father prepared and did everything wrong, yet decided in the spirit of not wasting food eat it anyway.

 I literally could not taste anything else that night without rotten fish creeping up my throat. It entered everything. I never knew a bite of fish could have so much oil that would not wash off my mouth.
