Seems like carp are a little too hardcore IRL and not just DF.  Reality imitating art.

I think Toady knows more than he lets on, about the new carp menace(ing with spikes of scales.)

Not related, but am I the only one who thought this was a topic for the development of a Carp Roguelike?
