Meh.  The BM5 comment involves the ICs who aren't really 'in' the game.  I can say how well they are doing.

I didn't get an answer on the Thanksgiving question, Dak, so I'm not prepared to solidify my not-playing-ness. I need to play this game, but I don't want to be replaced/prodded because I'm away for Thanksgiving Break.

In every game I host, I keep weekends 'lax' if the attendence requirement, so long as people show back up afterwards. 

It'll be the same for thanksgiving.  The game will play on but there won't be a deadline or a attendance requirement during those days.  If you need to be put on vacation earlier/later just tell me so I know.

So if the vacation time is the only thing you are worried about, I'm leaving you in.

I'm on vacation right now, and won't be back until Tuesday night. I'd hate to miss this chance at my first Mafia game, however. I hope this isn't too big of a problem.

It's not.  It's already clear that this week will be rather lax due to many being on vacation. 

So no worries about going in now.

Theme has been found.  It'll be a little different since it's not original but from another source, but I can promise a few things:

1. You do NOT need to know the source to understand what's going on (though you might get a touch more out of it if you do).

2. The flavor will not be able to be used to determine anything from the game.  In fact, I can actually remove the PM quote requirement without any harm (though the rule stays so that people can be used to them.. essentually you can talk ABOUT the flavoring but not quote the text itself).

3. It'll be a good change up for me, writing wise. 

As for the start time, even once I get all 9 slots, the game will not start before next Monday
