Here's a game type I thought up after perusing a few old and running games:

Everyone has three people they have to get lynched to win, except for the Mafia who have the normal wincon, the targets have to be lynched in order to win, so if you ended up being a vigilante you couldn't simply kill your targets with your NK, you have to have them lynched.

How does that sound?  I've only played one game so far (there haven't been any open since the BM I was in ended), so it probably has some problem(s) with it I'm unaware of.  Suggestions?

Does this idea have any merit?

I don't see that working. Once one person gets killed, everybody whose wincon was to get that person lynched automatically loses and has no incentive to play the game anymore.

Hhhm, would taking out roles with NK's work in addition to making so that their targets just have to be killed?  i.e. scum still have their NK but nobody else has one.
Realized this wouldn't work at all and I put it in the wrong thread. Derp.

Hmm... maybe a Kingmaker isn't appropriate...

What about a Vote Mafia?

And Hammertime has ended.

I heard a request for Roguelike Mafia 4 next.  Opinions?  Thoughts on when to put it into signups?

I'm in favour, but a refresher on the rules/items would be good.

Well I just got enough players for Cybrid mafia, but if I get more signups I'd love to push some of the existing people to do a BM first instead.

I can also safely expand the player base if more people want in.

Got it. Do you realise your thread is called "Rougelike", as in the red cosmetic? Rogues hate that.

I heard a request for Roguelike Mafia 4 next.
The thread has links for Roguelike I & II... was there a III? Or why is IV next?

Certainly the longest of any chat I've seen.  Several times I'd go to bed and check it the next morning to see that it had grown by fifty posts in one night.
