Na, I think physiological play should be a valid tactic if somebody thinks they can get away with it, and a safety word would sort of ruin that.

I'm not sure what would constitute physiological play (unless you know how to punch people through the internet) but I agree that insults and intimidation can be a part of the game.  I'd just want to verify though that a) it stays in the game and b) that people aren't actually being seriously offended by what I'm saying.

I think a post-game PM would be better suited for that if you feel like they might be taking it personally. Like Max said, with a safety word you would run the risk of someone abusing it when they feel themselves starting to crack.
