I seem to be the designated person-who-likes-bastard-mods here, but frankly I don't feel comfortable playing one with an unestablished mod and Portal jokes have gone the way of the Dodo and flared pants with pockets in the knees.

I don't like them.  At all.

Also, I have very little spare time.

With Portal 2 coming out in a few days I would think some people would like playing it...
It's not like I am going to be tacky with the flavor, theres going to be more then just cake and portal mechanics involved in the game...

Well, if it weren't in 3 games already i would think about joining. One think that scares me off is that you sound like you have no plan for what the rule changes should look like and you will change them at whim - that's not precisely bastard mod if you have no way of figuring it out before game end. Unless it's just looking like that

Interest check: May be running a Bastard Mod in the summer. It'll involve royal succession, and will be a game where it will also be in their best interest to backstab and/or sabotage other players. I will avoid lying, but may do it if I can find a way to make it interesting. There will be as many hidden mechanics as I can afford to make. As flavour-heavy as I can possibly make it.
