I'd be tempted to avoid the use of the word "mafia" altogether considering that the gametype doesn't have a mafia party in it.  Unless you're gonna flavour your cult as mafia (which could be... interesting).

Except that the game IS a Mafia game. Mafia the game is different from Mafia the team. The former just got the name from the latter.

That is the most scowlingest penguin that ever did scowl. I was literally hiding underneath my desk for several minutes, waiting for it to chuckle before I inevitably pulled out the power cord. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my computer was a laptop, and spent the next 3 hours waiting for that evil image to die outside my apartment until some cops told me to stop loitering.

Unless you meant cowl, in which case it is an easy addition. Or possibly bowl. They are spelled very similarly.

I know a lot of our folks left for there, and a bunch of people also hit the one-year mark and never came back.  Oh, and there's Dakarian... and a whole ton of other regulars.  Forsaken1111, Cheeetar, JanusTwoFace, Zai, JoshuaFH, Rysith.  None of them play anymore.

I do truly want to play mafia, but there's simply too many circumstances that prevent me from being a reliable member at the moment, and so I cannot commit to even very short games.

I love mafia, and so it pains me that I can't play as much as I'd like to.

Actually, if people are having long-term commitment issues, what about trying to play a Marathon/Rapid-type game? They typically last for two hours (obviously, the players are expected to be online throughout), so it might be easier on some busier folks and would be fun to do.
