I wonder how well Politican would work here.  I saw it in Chatmafia.

Concept:  It's like a reverse Kingmaker.  The players vote on a person but instead of that person being lynched they become elected.  Once elected, that person chooses who gets lynched.

So instead of choosing who is the most scummy, you choose the person who is the most 'townie'.


As for assassin.. not sure how that would work. The way they play it in chatmafia involves no talking and a mass of votes.  Tha tmay not work as well in forum mafia.

It wouldn't work the same way, sure, but it'd still be fun.

Yeah, since it's sortof like the opposite of mafia (informed majority vs uninformed minority with easy win condition) it makes sense to say as little as possible.

As for Politician... I quite like the concept, although you'd have to be careful to avoid confirmed townies at all costs .

I think that those kind of games are better suited for real time games... not forum.  Players would be discussing forever for something that is not really that relevant...

Oh, that reminds me of the Vengeful game I played irl today.  Actually, this setup has worked the best out of the irl ones I've done so far.

The bad part is that, of course, you can't communicate with your partner, which meant I was forced to bus him day one as he wasn't jumping on a mislynch.  Ah well...

Otoh, KotM just ended and the Beginner's Mafia series will be run by beginner hosts now.

And take "Zai's Mafia" off the Planned Games list. Discontinued due to it probably creating too much confusion among all players; it'd likely be a killfest Night 1 which would require lots of people to be killed (15ish players now that I think about it) which would probably lead to lack of interest Day 1 and then too much confusion Day 2. It fits the idea for mass killing night one and then confusion afterwards, but just...too much confusion. ...And lack of continued interest on my part. That too.

Please also add Reviver to the games in play.  It's about to start.  Also, Rysith's should be put in queue.  ... And, since ExKirby is gone, Lights Out needs to be taken off the planned games.

Also, are you planning on running Paranormal 13 soon, or are you waiting on that one?  The last game seemed pretty darned active.

Remark: we have no dying games right now (though there are a couple with lax attendance).  Looks like the system is working.  We also don't have a surfeit of bastard mods running around, which is good.

I'm pretty sure that Werewolf is out of comission.  If it was goingn to start, it would've a while ago.

Thus remove Werewolf from the listings.

I'm thinking Horrible Role can go up after one of the games ends.  After another ends, Bellsounder will start.
