We must find the religion with the most followers then tax them to hell.

We'll also tax them for not believing in that religion.

Any Civ can war with another civ, as I recall. The alignment just make it less likely for them to declare war on you.

Nothing prevents you from making war on anyone else, if I remember correctly.

(Rickvoid is correct. Having the same alignment as a comp makes them less likely to attack you.)
All right, screw it, lets just go with the Khazad. Now, to pick a leader. First off, we have this dapper fellow: Arturus Throne!

His traits are Industrious (Halves time to make wonders, plus workers work 10% faster) and Organized (Which halves Civic upkeep)

Now for our second option: Kandros Fir!

This dorf has the traits Aggressive (Gives all units +20% strength) and Financial (Every plot that's making two money automatically gains another money. So a 2 money tile becomes a 3 money tile, etc.)

Now, being Rise From Erebus, there are two additional leaders, who each only have one unique trait. However, they can gain other traits if we can accomplish some achievement. What are the achievements? I have no idea, so we may be stuck with one trait for a while.

First of the newbies is Athel Revus!

This dorf is a bad dorf. He's Evil, in fact. He also has the Slaver trait. (Everytime we conquer a city, it loses half of it population points. For every two pop points lost, a slave unit is made. Slaves are basically slower workers. Also, all units have a 15% chance of making a slave after combat)

And the last, but certainly not least: Reorx Veinhunter!

He's Neutral, don't worry. He has the Veinhunter trait. (Basically like financial, but with production instead of commerce.)

So, we have our choices. Dorfs of the world... VOTE!

Kandros FTW. More money let's us fund more research, and more research let's us sell more techs for cash (which sell one at a time, to everyone we can on the same turn, because they are going to share techs anyway.) Which nets us more money to buy troops with to conquer more land to make more money and URK!!

*Edit* Also, wonders are overrated. Building a stable empire, with the proper support systems in place, is far more important. Besides, we can always capture them later!

Reorx Veinhunter sounds especially Dwarf Fortress-y to me.  He's big on mining and really nothing else, which is exactly what the frequently wimpy, non-slaving, utterly disorganized dwarves of Dwarf Fortress are big on.

Why FFHeaven 1 instead of 2?  Is there some superior difference?

And damn you for making me think a Fury Road Let's Play is a good idea.

Lord Chin, this is FFH2. As I recall, FFH1 was a Civ III mod.

I propse a neverending stance of total war against both the Seelie and Unseelie Elven courts. As for allies, we should support the Lanun, assuming they are in game. The barbarian Orcs should be expunged wherever they are found. That is all.

I say Kandros Fir, because we are going to need the money if we are playing dwarves. Why? Because dwarves have a mechanic which gives you extra bonuses the more gold you have per city.

Ah yes, thank you for reminding me about that, Myroc. The Khazad actually do have a special mechanic. Every Khazad city automatically starts with a building called the Dwarven Vault. Depending on how much money is in our treasury, the Vault can give every city extra happiness, do nothing, or actually increase unhappiness. Probably should have mentioned that before.
