Test. Test. This thing on? OK, good. First, a question. How many of you have heard of Civilization 4? All right, I'm assuming that a good portion of you have. Now, take all that knowledge of Civ 4... and throw it out the window. We're playing Fall From Heaven, one of the best mods for Civ4 I've ever played. In addition, we're playing a mod for Fall From Heaven called Fall Further which adds like 9 extra civs. On top of THAT, we're also playing a mod for Fall Further called Rise From Erebus which just makes it even better. Now, what is Fall From Heaven? Its a dark (very, very, VERY dark) fantasy mod for CIV. It has magic, elves, golems, vampires, werewolves, and DORFS!
And now: Our story begins. First off, I inquire you my fellows, whom shall we lead to glory?
The vanilla civs:
In addition, Fall Further adds nine new civs, which unfortunately I don't have a fancy picture for. So you'll have to settle for a basic description.
Archos: Worship spiders and want to release the Mother spider.
Austrin: Explorers of the world banded together.
Chislev: Tribal people who despise the orcs.
Cualli: The evil lizardmen where the strongest survive.
Dural: They celebrate all of their creations.
Jotnar: The giant-kin, one leader for each alignment
Kahdi: Followers of Khad, who follows a god. But not the one he thinks.
Mazatl: Good lizardmen dedicated to stopping Armageddon.
Scions of Patria: The undead successors to the first civilization. And Rise From Erebus adds 3 MORE
Mechanos: The gods do not deserve worship. Only machines.
Legion of D’Tesh: All things are for D’Tesh, the undead necromancer.
Frozen: The world will be in ice once more.My brethren: CHOOSE! (Note, we can't start as Infernals, Mercurians, or Frozen. We can summon them and then play as them later, though. Also, pay no heed to the Good, Neutral, and Evil headings. Just about every civ has at least two leaders with different alignments. For example, the Lanun have two Neutral leaders, one Good, and one Evil.)
