Back... it's the original...
Bring Your Own Role Mafia. Basically, you pick the name of your role, and I pick how it acts and interacts with other roles. Any name shall do, and if it is obscure, a link to a data source might help. ...But please not TOO obscure.
This is otherwise known as U-Pick. I shall do my best to insure playability and avoid broken games.
Therefore, let's play!
As for rules:
PMing: Disallowed (Mafia ONLY)
Hammering: Disallowed (Timed Days)
Quoting Mod: ALWAYS Disallowed
Along with never under or overestimating your own significance.
And, send your role in when you sign up!
And I WILL have fun with this!
(I reserve the right to exclude others)

Kira
You might be mafia, but you’re doing it to make the world a better place.
You are Kira. Each Night, you may use your Death Note instead of the Mafiakill. If you write down a player’s name, you will also have a chance to redirect them, if you are able to list their ability and to whom they will be redirected. If you fail to guess their ability, they will simply die.
Obvscum
You simply couldn’t help being so obvious, now could you?
You are Obvscum. You are so obviously scum that any action that happens on you will result in an inspection coming up with scum, despite the action actually BEING an inspection. You also randomly go to someone’s house and tell them you’re scum.
Lord Havelock Vetinari
You are a dictator tottering on the edge.
You are Lord Havelock Vetinari. As a Dictator, you get substantially more say in everything. As such, you have two votes.
Starship Enterprise
Beam me up, Scotty! Unfortunately, he couldn’t do it, because the ship didn’t hold. So now…
You are a Starship Enterprise. Once, during the Night, you can sell someone a random starship (Either a Reflective, Protective or Deflective ship). Any abilities on a Reflective ship will turn back to the owner (Still affecting the owner). A Protective starship will stop kills. A Deflective ship will randomize any abilities on that person.
Last of the True Believers
You’re either talking about a song or are forcing me to make something else… Oh well.
You are the Last of the True Believers. Each Night, you can spread the word. You can choose someone to join your ranks. However, if you die, all of your followers die. You cannot recruit anyone in the mafia. You win when there are only Cult left.
Tsuruya
Giggly schoolgirl? You’re pushing it now.
You are Tsuruya. As a giggly schoolgirl, you laugh when anyone visits you during the Night. This laughter is heard by everyone in the morning.
Invincible Vig
You are an Invincible Vig… Did you mean a Vigorish? Why of course you did!
As an Invincible Vigorish, your ability cannot be stopped through any means. Each Night, you are able to apply a tax on a player’s action. You will receive any information that that player receives.
LOL, jk, you really have a Revive! But you don't know that! But you can be blocked
Algae Pail
YOU HAVE ULTIMATE POWER!
Each Night, if someone targets you or you target someone, you cover them and anyone that interacts with them and anyone else that gets covered in Algae, giving you a list of who interacted with whom (You're told exactly who interacts with whom, as long as they're covered in Algae that Night).
Jon Freeman
Computer game designer. Got it.
You are Jon Freeman. Once per game, at Night, you can choose reprogram someone. Doing so will cause them to revert back to the state that person was in at the beginning of the game.
