Yeah. I've got invites too. Three friends of mine and I were in a pool to hand out invites to each other if we ever got any, so I've already promised three. Still have five that I can give out here.

I Google Wave any good?

All that I can really tell from looking at it is that it's an advanced chat room. No big whoop.

Can't really sit through the whole video, since that's all buggy, and is nearly an hour and a half long (the preview; not the Pulp Fiction).

Think of it as a hosted easy-to-use wiki. You can build pages for anything. We use waves when we plan an event to track attendance and update any changes. Like they say in the video, it's like e-mail but a bit more advanced.

If you think of it as a private wiki combined with an instant messaging and email service rolled together, it makes more sense, and it's utility becomes more apparent.

You need a big screen though... Definetly not made for 15 inch displays.
