Dwarf Fortress Talk: Questions by email (link inside)
« on: November 09, 2009, 11:32:39 pm »

In order for us to manage questions more easily and to stop linking them to specific episode threads, we've set up an email filter and little folders and things.

Send your DF Talk Questions to: toadyone@bay12games.com
The entire subject line should be: Question for DF Talk
Please include your forum name or whatever you'd like us to credit you as when we read your question.  We'll use your first name if we've got nothing else to use.

There are various other suggestions for how to organize this floating around, and we can continue discussing that, but this'll work well enough for the time being.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK DF TALK QUESTIONS IN THIS THREAD!

Requests for autographed glossies or other DF Talk souvenirs signed by the hosts will be ignored, this is your last warning!

The runes required are too ornate and you flinch too much.

It's probably not his personal e-mail address, IWM.

The spam filter catches them well enough.  With all the forwarding to my main account after all these years, I'm getting 275 a day already, so it hardly matters now, anyway.

I don't think I could think of a question that isn't: a disguised suggestion, already asked, already answered, or about Kobolds.

Regardlessly I'll try to think of something interesting, perhaps it'll be in those categories.

I look forward to hearing other's questions.

We really don't mind a good question that has been asked before, as long as it can generate new and interesting discussion.  I haven't read everything this forum talks about - feel free to ask!

I know it is odd but for some reason I actually feel less inclined to ask a question now that I have to email Toady :P I hope I am not just that lazy.

Is the 275 the emails he gets or just the Spam?

Haha, I hope it's the spam.

Also, Kobold6, for what it's worth I think the kobold questions could make good discussion fodder.

Ok seriously toady.
You've answered enough questions!
It's time for you to make like Obama and change.
Either that, or cut some features for the next release.

4 DF talks was nice, but 5 without even a new release? Seriously, draw a line somewhere.

That and you guys ramble too much "with" capntastic. See if you can boil it a little.
