I have a question about Emailing.

Our username is included in the Subject? Or.. Do we include it before our question?

As in... Question for DF Talk - Kamudo.

Or is that not correct? x__x

Just put your username in the message body.  It says in the OP that "The entire subject line should be: Question for DF Talk," meaning it shouldn't contain anything else like your username.

It's a pity there's no way of seeing what everyone else has asked, to avoid doubling-up and un-uniqueness.

It wouldn't help.  Look at the suggestions forum.

It's actually funny, but I rarely see anything doubled up in the email questions.

Should this thread still be stickied? Not a whole lot going on here.

It should stay, it shows people where to email questions, and we get quite a few over the course of a month.

In order for us to manage questions more easily and to stop linking them to specific episode threads, we've set up an email filter and little folders and things.

Send your DF Talk Questions to: toadyone@bay12games.com
The entire subject line should be: Question for DF Talk
Please include your forum name or whatever you'd like us to credit you as when we read your question.  We'll use your first name if we've got nothing else to use.

There are various other suggestions for how to organize this floating around, and we can continue discussing that, but this'll work well enough for the time being.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK DF TALK QUESTIONS IN THIS THREAD!

Bumping this with the procedure for DF Talk questions.   Please try to keep questions succinct, as it makes it easier to get a good, strong answer for them.  Also, be sure to read the dev log to see what is planned, and try to make sure your questions aren't fake-out 'suggestions', like "when are you going to add chariot races??".  THANKS

Chariot races will be added right after the Narcoleptic Zombie Arc!

I am thinking of putting a real question in here...

But then I think about the mountain of questions already sent... Then I run for my life.

Okay, I'd like to put this issue to rest.  We get approximately 2 questions per week.  Put in your question!  We try to answer as long as it hasn't been asked or discussed before, and it isn't a yes/no question.  "How does this work" questions are good especially.

I'm still trying to formulate an open-ended question that will result in more rambling!
