Either that, or cut some features for the next release.

4 DF talks was nice, but 5 without even a new release? Seriously, draw a line somewhere.

He... already cut features for the next release?  Also, it's a monthly show.  A couple hours of not working on the release isn't a huge loss, especially if it keeps him sane.

It's just part of the venom stuff which was cut out months ago and the squad formations which people have said could wait that was cut out.

He's moving at a fast clip with the stuff. Much of the squad stuff is already blue, so it may not take too long.

That and you guys ramble too much "with" capntastic. See if you can boil it a little.

You should alaborate on this with specific examples otherwise you're just pointlessly flailing your arms at anything in range.

Yeah, I've gone over the transcripts recently and noticed a few things misattributed between Rainseeker and I.

Which is weird because he's chipper and I'm quiet.

Rainseeker is the one who often tries to sneak in suggestions right?

Yes, guilty.  :)

Well, real or alias.

Yes but if people have an alias as their email then I'd imagine they could pretty safely disregard my suggestion.

If anyone finds errors in the transcript please feel free to tell me about them, I'll edit them in and pass them on to Toady for re-upload. It isn't always simple to tell your voices apart even though your mannerisms vary on average.

Some suggestions for email questions:

A lot of questions recieved are variations on "Will X be in the game in the future".   The answer to these isalways yes, and unless they are in line with on-topic discussion, I will not ask them.  Similarly, questions that are "When will X be in the game" are not very fun, unless X is something not explicitly in the dev plans.

Ways to improve these would be to ask "How will X be handled when you get around to it?" or "How will placeholder X be improved in the near future?  Will it be like Y, or Z?".

Also please, stop sending us pictures of yourself cosplaying as your favorite Dwarf Fortress characters, papier mache has more noble uses than tentacle demons.

Goodness.

Didn't I make a list of things you shouldn't ask a while ago?

Capn Crunch Tastic Burger really made me laugh with his post.

Though I havn't sent any questions yet... though I don't know the criteria.

Yes, and the cosplay picture of the zombie groundhog was just... disturbing.

So people have sent you pictures of themselves in disturbing cosplay outfits?

Is there some reason you haven't reposted them here yet?
