Yeah, I got a dragon very early in a fort of mine. It came and ran straight ahead in a line. I thought it couldn't possible keep going on in a line and go for my fort instead.

It, ran across the map, right, into, my, magma pipe.

Of course there's magma.  You have a mountain tile.  Its in the HFS!

So if you find a gold ring you'll have to send a brave dwarf to throw it into the fires from which it was wrought, deep in the mountain, duh.

Marching an army to the HFS's gates to distract the foe so he doesn't notice the ringbearer is of course a bonus.

Well, these are modded dragons so that they don't die in 3 years of worldgen history. NOBREATHE, NOPAIN, NOTHOUGHT, etc.

And what if the HFS is of the aquatic clown type? I don't know, though.

Well, since the map was so large, the kobold ambush managed to avoid the 28471291 warthogs, bonobos, elephants and giant tigers to reach my fort entrance. Of course I was woefully unprepared, and got slaughtered.
