Hey, I use to play a lot of dwarf fortress in the summer time.. but since college started I have had less time. Now I would like to get started again. Problem is, im not sure what the new version is and it is bothering me. is it still lik 40d being the most current?

Also how did most of you get around to fooling with magma and pumps and water and pumps? I always have such monsterous problems making convienient wells and such. I also have trouble making proper fortifications to protect my fortress. I have watched the captain duck videos and some of the tutorials are a bit foggy for me. Anyway my biggest question is where can I download the most recent version of dwarf fortress?
