I guess I should vote- Voting for Org, and Frelock. Org- there's no way in heaven or hell you're a justicar. The points system for roles- your initial commentary, a lot of things make me honestly doubt you are one. Frelock... your personality. ((Oh boy. I sure love this category of accusations. PrinnyBaal. There's no reason to claim falsely a role that doesn't exist. What were you trying to do? This was a hairbrained gambit, for both Tower or Cabal. In either case, you've surrounded yourself with a shroud of suspicion and WIFOM and the only way to resolve it is to put you in the ring.

Alright, again- this still causes a problem dood. First, very basic logic would indicate

If as Janus seems to be indicating, I had planned this ahead, maybe it would be a move that might be done... although again- why the hell would my team have not stopped me? Why the hell would I suddenly act so out of my standard as to do this?

And another one doesn't think. There's a reason- ever thought about the game? About my comments thus far? My general position? I'm saying- no, I'm not Cabal. I'm a townie, and there's a reason I did this; namely that I believe that unless the town gets the Cabal in a pile- they're essentially never going to win. Do some basic thinking about what the game looks like- this is one of the few games where the cabal can actually happily trade members for townies in lynches because they'll always get a better rate. Maybe if we had a Grey Mage I wouldn't have bothered- but we've lost so many roles already, what the hell do you expect to happen when the position someone looks at the game from is that it's nearly impossible to win conventionally?

((And don't argue that it's not. That's -not- the dang point. I could provide my reasoning, but again, not the dang point.))

What do you want me to do, PrinnyBaal?

You PM the cop, saying "Hey, Cabal! Let's work together!", and ask him to investigate you. Then you claim a non-existant role, for what, exactly? So that you could get the Cabal to contact you so you could reveal them? Why did you think that would ever work?

The "Too stupid for Cabal" defense doesn't mean a whole lot, because the Cabal could try something brazen and stupid and then claim that as WIFOM. It doesn't take away any of the suspcion of the act, at all.

First off- Something tells me that there's a bit of confusion here. Perhaps I should have clarified this: The PMs were not sent in the order that Org posted them.

And yes- I had merely hoped I'd get a Cabal claim. You'd be surprised how stupid some people can be. ^_^ But still- it was worth a try compared to, oh, I dunno, doing nothing? I mean, I've always sort of sucked at getting people to believe me- I know that. People should know generally by now who I suspect for Cabal- and I'm being honest there. Frelock, Rickvoid, Org, and Janus. ((Tbh, RNG is still floating at the bottom, but I don't know what to say about that.)) If you assume whatever, assume whatever- I'm just hoping people will actually... ugh, I want to say think in terms of some things but... really- just think is all I can say. It's lylo regardless. The town needs to be perfect from here out. (Barring of course that Rickvoid technically is Cabal, in which case he have a sort of emergency relief)

And as for the too stupid thing... I meant that more as something else- but yea, I understand what you mean. I guess I may as well not argue that since it's not proper to argue personality in this situation I suppose.

Ugh, I seriously dislike games that go into this category. It makes me bitter about how most people play- not actually evaluating things past certain stages. For RNG: I'm saying I still suspect you on grounds somewhere around "I don't trust you." which as far as suspicions go, is a step down from "Hey, I haven't got a clue, so whatever." It means I don't actually believe you're Cabal at the moment, but I'd leave the doubt on you just in case.

Alright, so obviously we've got our public stuff, I'm wondering if you're interested in a little bit of private chatting? I've been reading through, and I was wondering if you had any instincts on Magma. I see he's barely posted and all, so... Not much to say, right?

Also, the other thing I have to comment on is my belief that you're relatively townie; obviously I can't say you are; but for now, I feel I can... get close enough to say this; I'm an illusionist of sorts. I don't want to say much more; but I know I can say that.

If you're willing to look into a long term team-up, for when it comes down the last few, go ahead and ask me a bit more; but be aware that I'm bringing that up as an extremely long term planning thing; so it's not something I'll be actually using/acting on any time soon.

So, if you're interested in working together, go ahead and say; otherwise, I'll probably just chat a little in private when I feel the need to probe your thoughts.

Well, that's good; if you said you knew what an Illusionist meant, I would've been really surprised. Regardless, that's for later. Most of that first PM was for later to be honest.

The other thing I have to ask is; do you really think the same scum hunting tactics will work? I think, between the increased health, and decreased scum power, they'll look a little more normal, on some level. I commented in a post that... killed it self as far as I can tell. ((It decided I was really quoting someone, yes, I intended to quote but agh. This site cuts on me too often.))

As for the main event; I honestly have trouble viewing Kirb as scum; I'd personally do something similar if it wasn't A: so dang obviously likely to screw one over in the long run, and B: frowned on by everyone for some reason.

I... -_- The numbers game IS putting people into the arena and hunting scum based on that. Am I just missing something that it feels like people are jumping back and forth on that whole ordeal? I said something like; We shouldn't be relying on the arena to find scum, and then it was "No, the arena is how we find scum!" and I thought; "But what about dealing with scum?" and then it was; "We deal with scum in the arena!" And I thought... what?

Ugh, hold on; I mean, obviously if we put two scum in, that's a plus, but beside that, if we've got someone in there we suspect of being Cabal... shouldn't we just drop all the supports against them and, I dunno... LYNCH THEM? I mean, perhaps I'm out of touch with how the game works, but if the suspicion is there, you don't just give them a free pass to murder every single next townie you test in there...

Again, I feel I'm just making a big deal out of something that isn't that complicated, but the idea of spending two phases to a lynch for mafians, if not more seems... counter intuitive.

Well, there's more to my thoughts though. Wonder how things'll go for the duel though... On one end, I'm glad I'm on the sidelines, on the other end, I dunno how useful I'd be out here.

Well, it's probably a plain old bad idea, but given my motives, I guess I may as well approach you regarding this one.

To be honest, you're one of my three main current suspects for a Cabal. Thing is, last thing I want to do is just go in carelessly, so... I figured I'd chat a little and try and feel it out. At this point, I can't say for sure whether you're Cabal or not, but really the feelings increased a bit, and usually I rely on my instincts and thus:

I've never really been that confident in my ability to push a lynch, so instead I tend to lurk, and try and develop a good enough case against my target when I'm townie usually, but in this case, I have a second idea in mind, so...

Yea. Lots of things I could say, but for now, I want you to chat a little. A bit about yourself, anything you want to point out, and so on and so forth. Don't worry too much, I suck as a player I believe, but still. You could at least give me a little hook if you are interested in anything.

Eh, this whole thing sounds like a mistake waiting to happen, but I still have to go through with it. Until I accomplish the first part, whether by waiting, or by actually finding someone...

So... it's basically do or die for the town kind of. But depending, I can swing that. I contacted one of the two people I suspect for Cabal, and you're the other- so...

Illusionist is my role. I kind of screwed up with the Assist tbh, and my role... well- I'll say this: It's basically a better Subtle Mage. I'm looking to get into contact with the Cabal, although I'm not asking them to actually contact me. I'm looking for them to give me two people to vote, and with 4 cabal + me, it should be 5 votes for the two chosen targets and it'll be game.

The reason is I'm a survivor role. My goal is to survive as long as possible to get a better position in the upcoming Tower Administration. Simple enough- I just have to be there for the last duel, if I can do that, I win.

Of course, this is already something of a wait what, but given that either side works for me, I figured I'd work on the easier to work with one.

Anyway... I contact Org as my second- you're the one I mentioned it to first, so you're my other. Anyway, that's it. If I get lynched for this... well obviously I'll still oppose it- but I'd think a good mafia would recognize a chance when they see one... That's it.

((Is hoping I wasn't actually secretly included in the Cabal numbers for balance purposes, and thus there would be 3 Cabal, not 4 as Meph claimed.))

It's less of the fake claim itself, it's that you claimed a role that isn't even in the game.  That's what seems really strange to me...

General comment:
Personally, I'm not actually surprised that Org was role-blocked.  I'm guessing that the cabal was thinking that since he doesn't have any combat bonuses, he's really not that much of a threat when blocked and they can focus on combat roles.
