Great, we're at a 3-way tie. I still think that magmadeath is scummy, very scummy. However, I started to look at this problem from a different perspective; focusing on the fact that we have 2 scum teams.
If someone seems blatantly scummy during the day, odds are they'll be killed off at night by the other team, assuming both can't win at the same time (and with conservatives vs. stalinists, I don't think they can win together). So, basically, it seems to me that, unless he's protected, magmadeath is dead tonight. Either he's scum and is killed off by the other team, or he's a cop who will be killed off for being such. The best part is, even the scum don't know if Magma is scum, paranoid or sane; to them, Alex could be part of the other group, in which case he could be sane or scum(or both), or Magma could just be a paranoid townie. Anyway you look at it, someone with a night kill will see him as a threat. So he's dead, and tomorrow we'll see his alignment, and his sanity, which may tell us what Alex is.
The only reason I can think of him not being killed is if he is on one scum team, and Alex on the other (which I think highly unlikely). Alex can't risk NK'ing him, or else he's suddenly confirmed scum, and Magma's scum team won't kill it's own member. If Magma's alive tomorrow, then he'll just have to tell us his inspection result and we'll have more to go off of.
