on buying it.
Winrar and 7zip are free o_O.

My Objection to .rar is that less experienced Linux users have a FUN time trying to get something to work (I'm a slightly more experienced Linux user now).

I did my own wooded items to charcoal reactions (based on your comment about my clothes to thread idea) in a fit of mad modding last night before you posted these. I find I did some that you did not do (basically I added anything that the elves were likely to try trading to you as well as just siege leftovers) and that I approached things differently in regards to the weaponry (I did separate reactions for the elven weapons as I did not want to accidentally burn a Masterwork Wooden Crossbow, basically 4 reactions instead of one, but I can see the appeal of having just one reaction). Feel free to use these how you will (caution these have not been tested yet so they might not work and the syntax may be awful). Note I didn't do one for cages because I find those useful.

Seems like a bit of a stretch getting enough charcoal out of an amulet to last for an entire forging operation

Well true, but you use a whole log to make it. If 1 log = 1 charcoal and 1 log = 1 amulet, 1 amulet = 1 charcoal.

(Note to self change the Goblet reaction).

Is there anyway to make it so the beds are made at a masons instead of a smelter?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm stupid. Realized that fuel isn't needed to make a bed.

In the current versions we can alter only smelter reactions.

In the next version we will be able to make custom workshops and alter some original workshops.
