I didn't run out of interesting links, but instead got BORED OF READING.

I got of rather quickly, probably just a few minutes, through sheer force of will, but I paid  high price for it, I feel like I had been turned inside-out and dragged through a pile of crushed glass from all the links I had to resist clicking...

zzzdude: Nah, this project is made so that I would overcome my procrastrination. I hope I won't be an asshole and abandon it

The trick is to work on the project when you are procrastinating something else.

Efforts have been made to lay out structured heuristics to assist practitioners of these time-management strategies. As Bricks points out, as long as you're a dedicated procrastinator, you should never truly be at risk of abandoning a project.

Bother, I missed this... By The Power Of Necromancy!

I am not certain that all the kinks have been worked out if the Dwarf: The Hammering mechanics, but it should be worth a look anyway, and you are free to grab any of the rules from/suggested for my thread too.
 I wouldn't use any of the intro stuff from DF, that is almost certainly a copyright infringement and the laws around that are pretty brutal even if everyone involved is nice. Things like having to sue your best friend for everything they are worth if you want to stop microsoft from being able to steal everything you have ever done...(mild exaggeration), but prominently mentioning that it was inspired by DF and putting in the bay12games address should be welcome.

Oh, I've lost all my files, so I would have to start all over.

Also, I'm currently learning python, and honestly games made in rpgmaker are somewhat mocked on the internet, so making the game in python in a year or more from now on would be huge progress.

Besides Dwarf the hammering is awesome. It's a game that makes the illusion of complicated game, but in fact it's about who has better draw wins.
