Humans and elves living together, all elf civs have buildings

So I was generating a new world when I notice a rather strange, and rather massive, Civ, it has both forest retreats and human cities, upon traveling to the forest retreats to investigate, I discover that these forest retreats are filled with houses and shops, just like a human city, and GASP! HUMANS AND ELVES ARE WORKING TOGETHER!


             So I check the legends and check the historical map as well, those forest retreats merely are titled as forest retreats, it turn out that the human civ gave the elf civ a major butt kicking, the elves might have been able to stave off the attacks if they weren't also being attacked by a also-massive goblin civ that controls an entire mountain region, hence why there are so many elf city ruins near the goblin mountains, there are also two rather small elf civs nearby that are still intact, they are heavily populated by elves, but they also have shops and houses, even though there are no humans to build them, and they are foes with the elf-human alliance, they don't go into the houses though, and their shops are empty. The elf-human alliance wouldn't be too bad,except for the fact that it controls 1/4 of the world. And we can't have elves living with that much land!

It has to do with new coding, that allows a civ to take over a site.
Those elves having human buildings but no humans probably re-took a site

Ahhh I see, also, the elf-human alliance isn't so great for the elves, some of them are slaves, but the rest are lucky to be in positions like guards or bowmen.

Once I found a mountainhome that had been conquered by goblins, then humans. 

It had a dwarven fortress, three goblin towers and a bunch of human houses and shops.  It was awesome.

Another horrifying note: the dwarf civs in this map are absolutely pathetic, really.

Seriously, they live in the vast,empty southern area, and none of them control more land then 2 tiles, all that land, and they aren't doing anything with it, at least the elves got off their butts and started working!

Dwarfs are pretty much the underdogs in this world, the human-elf alliance would have conquered them already if they weren't so far in the south!

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.
