Edit:  That would be the caravan arc, though it'd still not be a real economy.  What can you expect?  It's complimacated.

Clearly Stalin was a very misguided kobold. He raided the Dwarves' already socialist society, confusing their wealth and industry for clear indicators of social decline and capitalism. He then allowed them to own the means of production (workshops and raw materials) while he engaged in the "collectivization" (which he thought was a fancy word for collection) of the products of their labors.
