Anyone interested in starting a sucession game with Civ Forge (either normal or unleashed) and the orc mod?

Okay, what kind of map do we want? Any suggestions on worldgen?

There will be magma.

Icey maps are all the rage these days. It is for that reason that I propose we choose a map someplace vastly not icey. Like a desert. Or a beach.

Or a desert island.  With no borders.  Screw nobility.

An island would negate the purpose of the orc mod and the siegers in civ forge. I'm rather tired of ice maps myself, so I'll look for something tropical. Maybe there will be undead dinosaurs.

Edit: I'm going to start looking in unleashed, unless you guys really don't want unleashed.

Unleashed means danger! Danger always makes succession games better.

I've found a decent site. It's got magma, running water, all surviving races as neighbors (the jawas are extinct), and I *think* it has hfs. Not sure how to tell for sure.

It's a little large though. I'm not certain where the magma is, so I extended it a bit to touch the river.

If this is to everyone's liking, we can discuss rules, embark setup, and turn order.

If you want to be able to see the magma you can go into the folder in data marked init, then open the init text folder and change the line that says [SHOW_EMBARK_M_PIPE:FINDER] to [SHOW_EMBARK_M_PIPE:ALWAYS]. That is a really big area to be dorfing it up in.

Okay, I've got it down to 2x6, which is the smallest I can go and still be able to embark. Otherwise essentially the same site.

Is that good, or should I try a new world?

That's three of us, enough to be going on with. Any special embark suggestions?

Not really, although I'm always in favor of ditching the anvil and instead getting a good breeding stock, which is especially compelling given CivForge's excellent additional pets.
