Please say you're not a fan of 1984.

Nice movie though.

Remember, remember the fifth of november...

V for Vendetta is an awesome movie. I would watch it if it wasn't so late over here.

1984 is my favourite book. I used to have a quote from it in my signature here before I changed it to something far more appropriate.

Ah, that fireworks display was awesome, and you could feel the heat of the bonfire from 50 meters away.

Do you like music, Mr. Finch?

Although the movie is drastically different from the story, it's still a great movie. They play it all the time on the Detour.

I still cannot decide if I love it or hate it. The ideas and the story are so visionary and ingenious. However the story itself is so depressing I am blue whole week after reading it every time.

I must laugh whenever I walk around local book store. They have the novelization of V for Vendeta movie in shop window but do not have original comic.

I was browsing ED (yes, yes, hate me now) and suddenly I had to see this movie. I'm glad I did.

Now I have to read the Graphic Novel. I hope it doesn't do what Watchmen did and make the movie boring in comparison.

Movie Watchmen made comic Watchmen boring for you? Really? Excluding finale which was altered because of short space and was equally good it was 1:1 copy.

You read his post wrong. He said it makes the movie boring, in comparison to the goodness that is the comic.

Edit: Spelling was bad D:

I watched the movie before I read the comic, and I thought "This is cool! I'd like more insight into the characters and this world!"

Then I read the comic and rewatched them movie and I thought "This is... good... but it just doesn't have the depth of the comic. I know most movies fall flat when compared to the books but still... this is kind of bland".

I have the DVD... I'm a fan of the Wachowski brothers...

The speeches of V for Vendetta are fabulous, and the actor (who played Mr.Smith and Elrond int Matrix and LOTR) has an impressive dominion over his speech.
