Well you haven't responded, so I don't know.

And yes, that was indeed what I was thinking when I said that.

Don't sweat it, mate.  I had the itch is all and we scratched it rather well yesterday.  Also parasites.

Giving up your filthy terrestrial lifestyle would solve one of those problems.

[Totally OOC and perhaps revealing too much: I still can't believe the blighter who inspired last night's IC rant has held out three turns. Him, and what, 7 lightly armed and armored gits? He's so dead this turn (I state with charming overconfidence). That merman captain is totally going to be given some unpleasant "assignment" as petty penance for his failure, though.]

Psh, weak.  My jaguar warriors are killing like 10 guys for every one of them.  I'm losing like two guys in battles where I'm outnumbered two-to-one.

Yes, well, that's your sacred national troops. This was a cocky band of independents with a handful of second (third?) tier national troops thrown in for good measure. I counted on 3-4-to-1 odds being enough to overwhelm the pintsized independent garrison. I counted wrong. But this turn, this turn, hope will triumph over experience.  ;)

Hah.  I laughed out loud while watching the battle replay.  Unexpected.  Won't happen a second time.

Quite right, because I don't plan on making any incursions into your land, at least not yet.

Are those victory points good for anything?

I think whoever has the most of them after some time or maybe collects a certain number wins.

Only if you set that as a victory condition. If you took default victory conditions, they're meaningless.

I'm curious, the site says all the 2h files have been sent in, but the turn hasn't been processed yet. I thought it was usually pretty quick?

Ha. The turn just came in. I guess I'm slightly impatient today.

EDIT: Question time! Is it okay to pursue diplomacy through forum PMs or would you guys rather keep the private messages in game?

That is a good question. Prior discussion points to PM-admissibility. The main effect of sticking to in-game is sloooooooow diplomacy. The main effect of slow diplomacy would probably be impatience, misunderstandings, and violence.
